Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has been announced as ambassador for Welsh charity BulliesOut.

Fallon's character in the ITV soap, Bethany, is currently involved in a bulling storyline, and the actress commented 'Bethany's bullying storyline is a slow burner - it builds over time and I think that's true to life... Fortunately I've never been directly affected by bullying, but I have spoken to family members who suffered bullying at school. It can be terrible because it's no longer confined to the classroom. I love Twitter and Instagram, but it's easy to see how the bullies can reach you at any time'.
